Description: My responsibility was to assist the Drilling Geologist/ Engineer in;

Supervising geophysical, geological exploration and pre-site investigation to locate a drillable Borehore or Well point ( BH/Well PT). Undertaking field work and site visits for investigating and monitoring purposes.

Design and commission boreholes, and sample and measure groundwater and surface water.

Helps in supervising and performing safety, environmental and operational aspects of drilling activities.

For each Borehore drilling, I assist Drilling Geologist in well logging, performing blind/ screens calculation/installation, gravel packing calculation, job supervision and mentoring of equipment operators. Achievement:

With my involvement in drilling activities as an I.T students, it helps me to; Understand the important of Drilling Geologist in a drilling company.
