The total cost of the project is $28.75 billion. 4 mega trains, each with a capacity of 8 million tons per annum (Mtpa)of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and associated utility facilities. It will include a large CO2 Carbon Capture and Sequestration facility, leading to more than 25% reduction of Green House Gas emissions when compared to similar LNG facilities.

Construction Superintendent (Civil & Structure & Architectural)

Manage day by day the construction (civil & structural) activities for NFE Project EPC 1, W1A Area, Pipe Bridge, 132 kV Line and Helium Recovery Unit #4.

SHELL Majnoon Oil Field Project – Basrah

Client: Shell Iraq Petroleum Development B.V. (SIPD)

The Majnoon oil field is currently developed with 38 wells, a CPF, and two degassing stations namely DS1 and DS2, located in the Basra Governorate of Iraq, sits on one of the world’s biggest untapped oil reserves. The onshore oil field is estimated to contain up to 38 billion barrels of oil resources including an estimated recoverable reserve of more than 12 billion barrels.

The onshore field spans 52km-long and 15kmwide and comprises 13 oil and gas reservoirs of the Cretaceous age. International oil companies, Shell (SIPD) and Petronas, were offered to redevelop the field to raise its production up from 45,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) to a plateau production level of 1.8 million barrels a day (Mbopd), under a contract awarded in 2010. ENKA was involved in this development contract as a reimbursable contractor. First oil from the redeveloped field was achieved in September 2013 with an initial production capacity of 175,000bopd.
