As a Team Chief for the 240th Civil Engineer Flight (CEF), 1 of 5 Staff-Team units within the whole Air National Guard, I was responsibility to train, equip and staff teams to ensure the capability to mobilize and deploy worldwide (PACAF) in support of theater contingency operations and home- land defense. The 240 CEF is assigned to support United States Air and Space Force, 1st & 14th Air Force. S-Teams by doctrine provide specialized engineering, technical experts for C2 and resource management personnel to augment Combatant Commands (COCOM), Major Commands
(MAJCOM), Numbered Air Forces (NAF), Higher Air Force (HAF) and combined/joint HQ staff. As an Engineering Officer, I deployed and supported major commands and NAF annually throughout world providing staff and technical SME support ISO NLE exercises and contingency operations.
