tEquipment uptime/availability 98.8% for 2021. Equipment is not run 24/7 but is required to be available 24/7 for the customer to use at any time.

t2021 & 2024 PM completion rate > 99.1%.

tMaintain $2 mm spare parts inventory. A very large inventory due to a low tolerance for equipment down time.

tCoordinated with internal company controls group and electron beam accelerator manufacturer to replace 4 outdated PLC’s on time and on budget.

tIn spite of a comprehensive maintenance agreement, the electron beam accelerator manufacturer was unable to support replacing a shorted compensation magnet during the 2021 holidays. Coordinated with our internal staff, created and implemented a replacement plan that had the machine up and running in 2.5 days. An electron beam accelerator lives and dies by its magnets and this particular magnet had never failed in the 22 year history of this accelerator design.

tInstalled flying bucket concrete delivery system facilitating startup of newly installed Pipe Plus + machine

tRebuilt batch mixer equipment, improving concrete production quality and eliminating poor concrete batches that had been causing quality problems for several years.

tSpec’d out and installed a new water delivery system that allowed control of water volumes less than 5 gallons. This reduced waste production by allowing smaller batch sizes to be made when full batches were not needed.

tInstalled a 23,000 square foot mezzanine with a $1.5mm automated aluminum extrusion storage system.

tDesigned and implemented improvements to the aluminum extrusion storage system to improve storage system availability from 70% to 98%.

tInitiated and implemented production line continuous improvement project, adding 68’ free standing crane workstations to replace gantry cranes. Improving safety on 4 production lines and productivity output of the lines.

tDetermined that the repair parts stock was inadequate to keep equipment operational. Assessed, ordered and stocked $300K of spare parts inventory.
