Provided instructional leadership for 2 instructors and 287 students enrolled in Army JROTC and instructed an average of 146 high school students, among 5 academic periods daily. • Produced process mechanisms to acquire, ship, receive, store, distribute, issue and account for $8.2 billion worth of materiel for use by the Iraqi police and military forces to improve security operations.
• Closed out nine 3PL contracts to the Iraqi Security Forces as US capabilities were transitioned to Iraq and US force presence was reduced, saving $101.3 million.
• Provided oversight for a $36.6 thousand training and equipping program, developed by U.S. Army Materiel Command, and executed by the Iraqi Army to educate Iraqis on conducting depot operations.
COMMANDING OFFICER, 3rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, U.S. Army, Ft. Richardson, Alaska Equipped, staffed, resourced, and led a new US Army brigade structure from inception to Initial Operating Capability. Coordinated with local, installation and defense-level organizations to generate the resources, supply chain, budget and facilities needed for this emerging Army command structure.
• Found and hired 12 key staff leaders to form the initial strong nucleus for this new, 3,200- soldier organization.
• Implemented programming priorities for effective use of $1.45 million initial operations and maintenance budget to purchase and outfit essential operational systems.
• Directed and implemented individual skills and collective skill training for all newly arrived Soldiers to the Brigade Headquarters to achieve.
