SeaOne Holdings, LLC – 8/2017 – 7/2024

Senior Designer

Worked with structural engineer to design numerous docks, mooring arrangements and shore side facilities.

Worked with marine engineer to design a shipboard valve lobby containing 1000+ valves.

Using AutoCAD 3D basic, created 3D models of these designs as well as numerous, proprietary, storage designs.

Used AutoCAD 3D to extract bills of materials from vendor supplied 3D file.

Provided numerous cost saving options when the shipboard storage was used on land only. Estimated dredge spoils at proposed locations.

Facility layouts and traffic flow.

Gulf Copper Dry Dock & Rig Repair– Galveston, TX. 3/2012 – 8/2017 Senior Designer

Developed drafting room standards “on the fly” beginning with leg drawings for large jack up work boat Pico-4 and continuing into the Chevron TBT (Temporary Buoyancy Tank) project.

Oversaw drafting effort (Lead/Checker) to produce 450+ shop drawings for two “North” TBT’s. Résumé Bart C. Hamiter

2

Worked with Chevron engineer and provided design options to correct several deficiencies in the design. (Locking mechanism design).

Developed 3D assembly verification method to check for fit issues. Provided multiple 3D views of assemblies to shop to assist in visualization.

Used 3D assemblies to verify weight calculation and ascertain center of gravity and center of buoyancy.

Provided modified 2D and 3D drawings to QC to assist their inspection efforts.

Designed test procedures for testing locking mechanism on TBTs.

Designed Rip-out Valve for TBTs.

Created flat patterns of complicated pipe intersections for the fabrication shop.

Traveled to Gdansk, Poland to witness spool barge assembly tests, fact finding trip to observe Stolznia Gdansk operations. Developed off-loading procedure for cargo ship of spool barge parts.

Served as sub-contracts coordinator for Transocean Grand Banks bid proposal.

GWAVE:

o Worked one-on-one with customer during the late design stage to identify and correct manufacturing issues.

o Working from only a 3D model, extracted and named all parts to create a plate nests to order four million pounds of steel plate (553 unique, custom plates). o Developed method of using PRONEST software to nest linear material o Created 700+ fabrication and assembly drawings for the entire hull (55’ x 75’ x 225’). o Designed a special framework for modular construction and numerous spreader beams for eccentric loads.

College of the Mainland. – Texas City, TX 77591. 1/2012 – 5/2012 Ad Hoc Instructor, Civil Drafting

LZ Technologies, Inc. - Houston, TX 77058. 1/2009 – 9/2010 Senior Drafter IV
