Clients also participated in one week of pre-vocational group where we emphasized attitude and job expectations and on the job problem solving. Counselor at Pharos House, a halfway house for work release inmates from federal and state correctional facilities. Duties involved direct supervision of the residents, facilitating groups, de - escalating crisis situations and job development. Also while there, I developed a network of law enforcement, medical professionals and other social service agencies that proved exceedingly efficient and successful in these endeavors at protecting the child. Worked extensively with staff at Barbara Bush Hospital and The Spurwink Child Abuse Clinic Also worked with many clients suffering from substance abuse, and their families.
