Since 2015 I have been employed as a Valuation Analyst and most recently as Valuation Oversight which included multiple appraisal management company vendors. I provided a second layer of review, discussed errors, inconsistencies, verbiage needed to back anything questionable. I’ve written over 400 ROVs with 68% successful change in value. Managing a loss mitigation valuation team included training appraisers, supervisors and processers of specific HUD protocol. Reviews encompass adherence to industry standards and guidelines including USPAP, The Appraisal Institute, The Appraisal Foundation, etc. Beyond compliance I reviewed the strength of the appraisal including comp selection, if adjustments are reflective of the market and if the final reconciliation of value is supported. Prior to 2015 I managed an appraisal company which included training and supervising candidates working toward their certifications. I have developed meaningful data- driven matrices based on experience and in-depth research, from a qualitative and/or quantitative perspective. I have also communicated directly with HUD, FNMA, investors and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau responding to audits, inquiries and complaints.

• Oversight of multiple Asset Management Company’s AMCs to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines including USPAP, HUD appraisal protocol, The Appraisal Foundation, and the Appraisal Institute and in-house policies.
