●Currently working as one of the lead developers for Avior’s Tax Services (ATS), a SaaS aimed at automating all aspects of a business’s tax filing. Development is primarily in Python and XML, with some SQL as part of data retrieval from customers. Management of development is done through the use of Bugzilla, KanBan, and a ticketing system to track user issues.

●Responsibilities at this position include:

Regular communication via Zoom meetings, phone calls, and emails with other companies in order to pitch the software and eventually onboard them onto our cloud-based tax automation software.

Data analysis on transaction files provided by users. These data files may come from different softwares such as Quickbooks and Award or as raw xls/csv/txt data.

Regular development of new functionality such as profile code when new users are added to adapt their data into something the central code can use. New development can also include improvements done to legacy code, or additions of new tax forms made by the state.

Regular updates and testing for the automated forms to keep up with the ever-changing tax rules involved with tobacco tax, alcohol tax, fuel tax, and sales tax.

Troubleshooting problems and when necessary updating the software when a user has an issue.

●ScoutBoard is an Android application that allows the user to manage their account, their inventory, sales, and sellers as well as manage the scheduling through an interactive calendar and money raised throughout the course of a fundraising campaign. The application also features a dashboard to quickly visualize the fundraiser’s performance.

●Developed through the use of Flutter, Google Cloud Firestore, and GitHub.
