Summary of experience:

I have 8 years working in financial institutions also banking sector, I was required to do be on standby 1 once a month as our team was comprised of 9 DBA team members.

My scope was to create test and development databases for Test analysts and Developers.

I was also tasked with Oracle upgrades, tuning, taking daily backups and making sure production is always up.

I deployed scripts on production

Brian is a multi-talented individual, suitably qualified and highly experienced DBA professional with more than 10 years’ experience. He started as a desktop Technician to a DBA within 10 years span. He has had the chance to learn from some of the best oracle principals, he has worked for companies such as Silica now called FNZ.

He managed databases (Production) of which were more than 2 terabytes, successfully deployed some of in-house applications in Old Mutual Kenya (Nairobi). I am self-driven, self-motivated, and also a diligent individual.
