OBJECTIVE

Obtain a building service position to enhance and improve my skills in the safe operation, care, and maintenance of industrial property and equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaners, and back transportable vacuums, and to provide a clean and healthy environment. WORK EXPERIENCE

Maintenance and cleaning services in educational and medical buildings: cleaning of furniture, floors, walls, windows, fixtures, offices, classrooms, common areas, restrooms, and adjacent exterior areas. Responsibilities included:

• Collection and safe disposal of refuse (and hazardous materials) and recycling

• Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies (as needed)

• Measure, cut and replace ceiling tiles

• Cleaning, dusting and storage of equipment and specialized materials

• Hand’s-off cleaning apparatus (for restrooms)

• Sanitization of various specialized rooms and spaces

• Cafeteria cleaning and sanitization

• Floor maintenance: burnishing, mopping, stripping, recoating, waxing, and vacuuming

• Shampooing carpets

• Washing windows and walls

• Clean and change light fixtures and bulbs

• Cleaning black/white boards

• Storm maintenance and cleaning

• Lawn maintenance (Kubota, push mower, weeding, weed-eating, and edging) EMPLOYMENT
