I am a well educated, friendly, hard-working individual looking for advancement in the healthcare field. I have worked several healthcare positions over the past 15 years. I am a very fast learner, and eager to learn new things.
I have three Associates Degrees and earned all with High Honors. Both my Medical Office Assistant Degree and my Health Informatics Degree covered medical coding in detail, starting with ICD-9 and continuing with ICD-10. I started working at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Health Information in December of 2016. I was promoted to Clinic Coder in September of 2017. I earned my CPC Certification in 2018. I worked as a Clinic Pro Fee coder at Fairfield Memorial, and also coded outpatient surgeries and inpatient E/M services. At Salem Township Hopsital I have had some expericience with diagnosis coding for ED's, and also some outpatient surgeries. My main position at the moment is Outpatient Coding. I have been coding remotely since 2021. I am looking for an opportunity to further my career in the Medical Coding field.
