Duties & responsibilities
To perform radiological procedures as required in accordance with department protocols and follow the regulatory guidelines during radiographic x-ray exposure.
To produce diagnostic image with optimum quality ensuring dose is kept as low as possible.
To work with all equipments in the department which includes X-ray, computer radiography (CR), CT, MRI, rotation wise and shift basis.
To explain the procedure to patient in effective and understanding manner along with its complication and benefits.
To identify artifacts in various modalities and resolve it effectively with appropriate remedy.
Ensures that the Principles of Radiation Protection are adhere to take part in Routine Daily Inspection of equipment and quality.
Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
Maintains continuing quality assessment and improvement analysis and evaluation of service delivery and communicates with the management team on the activities/ issues of the department. Declaration
