Key Responsibilities

• Analysing of a pure seed to see its germination percentage

• Sampling and sealing of seeds to be exported

• Testing sampled seeds for purity to promote uniformity, record the types and weights

• Giving the exporting company the certificate to export the seed

• Authorise selling services to Agro-dealers by providing seed seller’s licences

• Upgrade seed to improve the quality of the product

• Ensuring proper care and control of laboratory equipment

• Arrange for outside seed testing for Agro-dealers, such as testing germination

• Keeping records for Agro-dealers ’s marks

• Arrange training and supervise plant personnel

• Provide sales and customer services for retail seed sales and seed treatments

• Preparing departmental reports
