Directed the operations of the Fire Prevention division. Performed plan reviews, completed designated and mandated annual fire inspections, implemented and performed weed abatement/fuels management inspections, enforced state Fire Code with local amendments, wrote ordinances, policies and information bulletins. Adopted new codes each cycle and worked positively and cooperatively with builders, designers and the general public. Investigated fires for cause and origin. Performed Community Risk and ISO Assessments and other administrative tasks as needed. I was the program manager for State Community Care Licensing inspections and program administration.
