PIERS JAGO

OBJECTIVE:

I am a British- born American citizen seeking employment. I want to utilize the skills I developed while serving in the British Army. I saw service in a few different countries whilst I was with the army, this involved me being stationed in England, Germany, Canada and saw active service in Iraq. In the army I was in the royal armored core and was a tank crewman on the challenger 2 main battle tank I served with the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment. When I started with them I was employed as a tank gunner, then I moved to the drivers position and a year before I left I became the loader or second in charge of that vehicle, need to know all jobs on the tank before becoming commander. My responsibilities in this role were mostly the upkeep of the vehicle systems, which included the turret systems, the running gear meaning the the tracks, road wheels, sprocket and the engine and power pack. I also became a team medic for my troop, so my responsibilities also included looking after the health of people. My regiments official moto is 'Fear Naught', or basically fear nothing which I still use to this day. I choose to better my knowledge when I first arrived in the U.S and choose to learn about fire science which I did at the at the Santa Rosa Junior Collage. I do have skills in construction, as I've done a small amount when I came out to the U.S. In 2011 but I started the construction element in 2013. I joined whole foods market in Sebastopol in 2015. While I enjoyed my time with them and formed valuable friendship. I'm now actively seeking new employment, inorder to further develop and acquire additional skills. My goal is to bring laughter and joy to my new team while propelling them into the future.

I love to learn new things, because it broadens my knowledge. I will look after my team and I've proven that. I'm willing to take on extra loads if needed to help the them through the shift, as anyone at the Sebastopol store can testify too. If life is a novel with each chapter showing a different version of ourselves as we learn and grow, in our stories we figure out that we can't live in the past of what was. Because then growth can not be achieved. Which is needed to find the best version of ourselves. Growth leads us to a better understanding of where we're going in this world, as well as finding out who we really are. Then this is a new chapter in life for me and would like to work with you, inorder to better myself through growth and understanding this world better.
