Lucky Cement is one of the largest cement manufacturing company in Pakistan having Balance Sheet over USD 2 billion. Was heading Treasury, Payable/ Receivable and Insurance functions of the company as well as managing over 30 staff of the company.

Responsibilities:

Point person for all treasury/Cash related transactions for the company

Was supervising the functions required for the preparation of Financial statement.

Including accounts payable and receivables of the company.

Coordination with internal and external auditors of the company.

Liaison with banks – both National and International for movement of funds

Placement of funds both in short and long term through banks including Term Deposit Certificate, deposit on daily product, money market, treasury bills and mutual funds over USD 200 m.

Managing USD 100 m borrowing from Bank and NBFIs for Project financing and for working capital requirements of the company.

Prepare and monitor cash flow on monthly/ quarterly and annual basis.

Settlement of FX transactions against import and export of the company.

FX hedging through forward booking and in 3rd currency options.

Having experience of Cross Currency Swap and Interest Rate Swap.

Working on SAP and Oracle ERP system.

Current project is buyback shares of the company over 23m

Supporting fund management of group’s nonprofit organization/ hospital having over 100 bed for heart hospital and over 100 beds in kidney hospital each.

Looking after over 300 vendors accounts from verification to final payments
