Fort Worth-based healthcare manufacturer supplied incident response services and product plan, as the result of breach where a Nation State Adversary (Chinese) stole customer information. It involved credential theft of the company’s Azure AD, and I provided isolation and remediation, E5 for admins and CXOs, with multifactor authentication, two-tier PKI, Privileged Admin workstations for cloud administration, and upgraded Microsoft for Business (E3 for most employees, E1 for mobile workers). Integrated four companies (under the holding company) into one O365 subscription.

Geo-Control Systems that were breached performed incident response activities, while HR records were stolen and used to file fraudulent unemployment claims to the Texas Workforce Commission. In the remediation phase, I performed stealth in-place upgrade to forest and separate network. The goal was to prevent the perpetrator from becoming aware of building a parallel Microsoft server 2019 forest (with security-hardened servers and Privileged Admin Workstations for systems administration). Implemented Sophos on old systems to reduce risk of ransomware, and EDR to be able to recover any server, or workstations. Implemented E3 subscription for O365 on new DELL Latitude Windows 10 Pro laptops. Loaded Sophos Endpoint and joined them to the new 2019 Forest. Coordinated SIEM log collection to automate IR.

Cleveland hospital (with locations in England), provided O365 Multi-Geo and Exchange
