Cancer clinic psychologist dept surgery clinic and ER

Vitals pt history rooming pt prior auto’s procedures injections ex for pts answering phone registration also worked in transplant and neurology and in heart and vascular dept

Worked as med asst for 16 years also relay messages from pt to physician

Assist with many procedures such as biopsies vena puncture removing cysts wounds EKG’s also blood draws. Personal assistant with the physician . Also would call pts to see if anything needed and see if pts were ok after procedures

Would order procedures such as sleep studies crays ct scans mri scans

Also would set up surgery for the pts

Assisted with follow up care after surgical procedures

Would make sure medication list were up to date and ordering for pt as needed

Would answer multiple phone calls

Scheduled pts for follow up appointments or procedures as needed

Worked in many different clinics and gain a lot of knowledge from pt care to procedures

Would really like to return to the medical profession again

Also worked in a private doctor office as a RMA and in nursing home as a ward clerk and assisted with physiotherapy

Been an RMA for over 25 yrs

Would love to return to UTMC once again and work until I retire

I am a team player willing to help anyone with anything

Willing to work extra hours whenever needed

I enjoy being a medical assistant and helping pts with anything they need

I am compassionate and caring

I currently work at whirlpool but my passion is to be a medical assistant once again

Also assisting with cleaning instruments after use

Assistance with hearing loss of pts and blindness

Also worked through Covid time and assistance of Covid testing
