KT Black/Avengrid Bickleton, WA (6 Month Contract) Over saw and assisted with electrical and mechanical remediation processes at a 200MW solar farm

Remediation activities consisted of deconstructing cab-lines for the entire site that were attached to improperly oriented piles

After reinstalling piles in correct positions, cab-lines were reconstructed and inspected for quality specifications

Performed daily inspections on Mechanical components of the entire solar farm. 100% inspections were performed on all piles, racking, and modules immediately after contractor's installation and Qa/Qc was complete.

Communicated with land owners while also noting safety protocols and safety violations to contractors onsite.

Electrical inspections entailed combiner box inspections, trenching, MV, Fiber optic installation, transformers, and inverters.

QA/QC INSPECTOR & REMEDIATION TECHNICIAN 10/2019 to 12/2020 Tradesman International/Sterling & Wilson Johnson City, KS Inspected mechanical construction consisting of racking and module installation to ensure all blueprint specifications were achieved for entire duration of 150 MW solar farm

Performed troubleshooting tests to identify potential causes of system failure and remediation of the racking system on an older 50 Megawatt solar farm

Removed all obsolete Nextracker motors from entire solar farm and replaced them with new functioning motors, while also adding/removing improperly installed mechanical hardware such as star washers, nuts, bolts, etc

Performed QA/QC checks on all torque tolerances to ensure proper racking system and panel rotation on all areas of racking systems that we're experiencing operational issues
