As a further way of introducing myself to you, I’ve intentionally included in the attached resume, my job and career objectives and experiences. I consider myself a seasoned CPA, with a depth of knowledge.

I currently live in Houston, TX, but for over 30 years I lived and worked in the New York metropolitan area. I moved there from my hometown of New Orleans after college to expand my career and life experiences.

After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, I purchased a home in Houston for my parents, who were living in our hometown of New Orleans (which was uninhabitable for quite some time). They were cared for in Houston until there passing. From late 2023 to 2024, I’ve made the decision to live and work in Houston, close to my family, where I hope to find the next great job opportunity.

I am writing to express my sincere interest in joining an esteemed organization. With over 25 years of professional experience, most recently as a Director of Accounting, I am confident in my ability to contribute to your team's success.

Through my tenure as a Director of Accounting, I have gained invaluable insights and honed my skills in various areas that prepare me for new challenges. Firstly, my experience has sharpened my decision-making abilities, allowing me to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights to support organizational objectives. Moreover, my time in this role has fostered a strong sense of leadership, enabling me to guide and inspire my team to consistently deliver high-quality results. Lastly, my expertise in team-building has allowed me to assemble and develop cohesive groups that work together efficiently and effectively.

Apart from my experience and skills, I bring to the table a strong sense of professionalism, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail. I am highly proficient in various accounting software and possess a solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
