Possess working knowledge of Diesel and Bunker Fuel Power Plants. Regularly handle power plant performance queries using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI, normally from Operations Supervisors and other departments from Vivant Energy Corporation.
Participate in monthly O&M meetings with subsidiary plants regarding technical needs and plant performance.
Conduct daily review of data submissions by the subsidiary power plants. Data includes dispatch, fuel consumption, fuel deliveries, etc.
Review monthly reports by the plant subsidiaries externally to DOE. Validating technical and non-technical data.
Provide assistance in the preparation of bidding requirements for subsidiary power plants.
Resolve data pipeline errors efficiently to maintain smooth data reporting. Temporarily deployed for one month at the Philippines’ first utility-grade desalination plant to support daily operations and monitoring activities. Responsibilities included overseeing plant operations from the control room, monitoring water quality parameters(pH, chlorine levels, turbidity, & conductivity) and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Possess working knowledge of CFB thermal power plants and Bunker/diesel plants
(Niigata, Wärtsilä).
Perform daily Condition-Based-Maintenance (CBM) using vibration analyzers (TPI 9080, Fluke 810) and thermal tools (Fluke 568 IR Thermometer). Conduct operational monitoring using advanced equipment such as the Ultraprobe 9000, Fluke Ti480 PRO Thermal Scanner, Fluke DS701 Videoscope and Mitcorp Videoscope.
Assist QA/QC Engineers during inspection of incoming equipment, repair activities, and post-maintenance evaluations to ensure quality and compliance. Perform motor solo runs and load testing to assess mechanical integrity and operational readiness.
Conduct performance testing on Niigata 18V32CLX1 engines and generate analysis reports based on OEM guidelines.
Act as Person-In-Charge for third-party contractors during scheduled thermal plant preventive maintenance, including inspection of boiler refractory, slag coolers, ignition ducts, ductwork, and heat exchangers.
Lead turbine lube oil and control oil flushing activities and provide maintenance progress to TSD Superintendent during minor turbine PMS (Shin Nippon). Performance and Efficiency Engineer
