Introduced 10g RAC/ASM clusters as a HA and consolidation platform on Unix.

Introduced geo-redundancy using Data Guard & OEM for fault & performance.

Designed and Implemented Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Access & logon controls.

Database and application backups and DR tests tape backups. RMAN & Catalog.

Maintain and monitor Oracle Advanced Multi Master Replication (Bi-Directional)

Implemented the first UAT / Dev (Test Environment) for US Cellular NNO Application and code testing. This helped with the reduction of downtime and outages caused due to upgrades otherwise performed on live production systems.

Database Backup and Recovery - Introduced RMAN backup and recovery methodology on all the databases. Automated using UNIX shell scripts and integrated with tape NetBackup for offsite copies resulting in a dependable disaster recovery. Created Backup Server and configured use of offsite Recovery Catalog. Setup Backup Fault monitoring, SNMP Alarms routed to Surveillance 24x7 monitoring facility.

Remedy Application Data Integration Built Oracle 8i PM database for Remedy data involving extensive use of Unix Perl and shell scripts, SQL Loader, scripting ftp, facilitating automated data imports into the database and procedure runs for daily executive reports.

Watchmark Prospect Application Implementation. Was awarded Certificate of Special Recognition for Watchmark Prospect Application Implementation project. (Prospect Datawarehouse)
