Product Manager - Automation and Electrification Products, Servodrives and Motor Controls Led highest selling product group, automation and electrification products, for a medium size distributor specializing in large machinery, mobile controls technologies, automation of process controls, as well as the aerospace and defense sector for the NE Region. Acted as go between from Client to Morrell Upper Management for all sales of electrical product lines carried by Morrell Group, typically brought in by our Technical Sales teams who were responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients for meetings where product managers could advise them of how our product offerings would fit into their business and identify the reasons which the initial capitol investment would provide more in return than our competitors - as well as what we offered as a standard company procedure which was different than our competitors and made us a unique but promising choice.
Responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on the full range of Bosch-Rexroth's controls hardware which we sell which included the entire line of Indramat, Indradrive CS, ML, MLD, etc. Inverters/ Converters, Regen/Non Regen DC Power Supplies, XM Motion Controllers, Fieldbus Remote IO, MS0N and prior servo motors and absolute/incrementaln encoder options and all accessories necessary to build a functioning system, as well as the new CtrlX Core X modular controls system which utilized an app based Non subscription software side running on either X3,X5 or X7 level Linux based "core" processors on which PLC Code can we written in any IEC language or any C Python, Java, etc. Based programming. CtrlX drives designed to work with the Core system (which can control up to 239 individual axis on a single core) communicate over EtherCAT as standard protocol, however nearly every other standard protocol available such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet/bus, sercos III, MODBUS, etc. Various configurations of Remote IO provides all Digital and Analog Inputs and Outputs (fast DI, 2-wire systems, Relay Outputs 0-250VAC /VDC 0-8amps, Human Machine Interfaces and Industrial PC's, as well as all servo motorn and drive, power, and accessory parts necessary in the MCC panels. Ability to perform hardware sizing and design for clients desired system, MCC, Motor, and drive sizing and selection for clients requirements, ability to perform initial commissioning of system as well as ability to troubleshoot and repair all 24VDC controls wiring, components, tune PI gains on system commissioning for servomotor drive systems, proficient with Process meters, multimeters, ammeter, oscilloscope, and other electrical diagnostic and monitoring devices. Comfortable working around 480VAC three phase live power for troubleshooting of MCC systems. Familiar with working within the most recent NEC requirements.
Knowledge of Yaskawa VFD product line, sizing of drives to applications, proper sizing and spec of motor for frequency drive use, product options and adjustable parameters and data. Ability to integrate drive into existing system for commissioning.

Acted as Lead/Principle Electrical Engineer for a large machine builder that makes all facets of machines for the automation of the filling and packaging division of Barry Wehmiĺler companies, specifically for the branch producing Mateer auger fillers and BURT roll through labelers Designed, Created and Published all electrical schematics per NEC and IECstandards as well as conformance to PLx or SIL level safety standards for the customer specified order based on input voltages, options selected, possible Class 1 Div 1 or 2 builds, for all machines sold by our branch.
