Responsible for overseeing the recruiting, hiring and overall employee onboarding and engagement of a multidisciplinary team, and successfully achieved an above-industry-standard retention rate of 86% in FY24 by focusing on leading with human-kindness and empathy, while engaging employees around what really matters, improving employee morale, productivity and organizational loyalty. Ensured the highest level of compliance with Federal, State and OSHA regulation requirements regarding Infectious Waste Management and Disposal, inclusive of a comprehensive campus-wide preparation training program that included an optimum emphasis on safety and continual performance improvement. Maintained annual facilities budget in the multi-millions, advancing keen and prioritized articulation of vendor relationship best practices in the management of vendor relationships, contributing to a year-end budget surplus of 6% in FY24, and consistently achieved a budget surplus of 3% over the past 6 consecutive years. Significantly reduced Injury Frequency Rate (IFR) from 5.6% to under 2% which contributed to an impressive reduction in workers compensation claims and reduced overall lost time.
