oRecommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.

oCompute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment.

oObtain merchandise from bins or shelves. Complete order receipts.

oAnswer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection.

oDistribute materials, products, parts, and supplies, based on requisitions.

oStock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.

oStamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.

oReceive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.

oRead orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.

oReceive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise.

oAnswer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
