Machine Operator and Deboxer KRAFT HEINZ Garland, TX 07/22 - 11/23 Read production work schedule outlining sequence of work orders to be completed. Reviews work order to determine the size of film, tape, boxes, and other supplies have been provided at work stations. I verified correct product, films, boxes, etc. Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunction of machine. Track film to ensure that front and back are lined up properly. Makes minor adjustments as needed and eye registration, moving scanner and adjusting box index. I Ensured that all safety equipment is in place before operating machine. Make up boxes; loads film; checks product supply; sets up totes and pumps. Inspects filled packets to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications. Inspect packet checking for leaks and/or seeps. Seals packaged boxes with tape. Placed sealed boxes on pallets and palletize in a neat manner according to pallet configurations. Filled out production work order properly. Start/stop times, down time codes, and packaging material used. In case of jam- up removes front die, removes basic teflon and cleans up jam- up. Operated all filling and packaging machinery. Dismantles, cleans, Sanitizes equipment. Performs minor mechanical repairs and light PM’S. Completed changeovers as per production schedule. Performs Material Handler functions, Operator Assistant functions, and Sanitation functions as necessary. Assists in training of other Machine Operators. Participated in meetings and process improvement teams. Performed all PQC (packaging quality control) checks and Enters all required data into IQS(Infinity QS) data base. Drive yield improvements through OSCAR and other initiatives to reduce losses.

I was both Driver and Dock Manager. I was responsible for a staff of 6 to 10 box truck drivers, storage facilities, logistics operations, and other facilities. I was the warehouse manager for our fleet. I trained and evaluated employee progress as well as time management. I directed and assisted dock workers and drivers in the loading/unloading of cargo trucks. I also resolved a myriad of other issues with delivery route and box truck operations.

I assembled pallets as necessary while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Assisted with replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, and other similar duties. I also reported safety concerns to appropriate staff.
