· As a member of the Corporate Crisis Management Team, assisted in disaster preparedness for more than 64,000 associates globally.

· Command and General staff position experience for multiple exercises and responses. CAPTAIN HARRIS COUNTY FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE JANUARY 2020-SEPTEMBER 2022

· Managed a team of 16 highly intelligent individuals that provided operational support to all Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office divisions and 54 fire departments within Harris County, TX prior to, during, and following disaster incidents and large scale planned events.

· Developed an array of training courses for Harris County Fire Marshal personnel as well as provide Incident Command System (ICS) training to 13 county regional public safety agencies such as Harris County Sheriff’s Page 2

Office, Texas DPS, Texas Game Warden. Texas Division of Emergency Management, Houston Police and Fire Department, Huntsville Police and Fire Departments, and Non-Government Organizations.

· Supervisor of the Fire Desk at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations and liaise with the City of Houston during Emergency Operations Center activations for natural and human-caused disaster incidents such as 96-inch water main break, civil unrest Summer of 2020, and Hurricane Laura (2020).

· Managed the development and the implementation of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s security detail. Assisted in threat and risk analysis of large events that the Judge and security staff attended to include rallies and social events.

POLICE OFFICER-CATASTROPHIC PLANNING UNIT HOUSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT MAY 2008-MARCH 2020

· Developed numerous Event Action Plans (EAP) and After-Action Reports (AAR) for large scale events such as the 2017 and 2019 MLB World Series, Chevron Marathon, Super Bowl LI, Freedom Over Texas and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Participated in EOC and Incident Command Post positions during these events.

· Collaborated with Southeast Texas Regional Advisor Committee (SETRAC) and the City of Houston Mayors Office for planning and implementation of exercises for cascading catastrophic medical incidents and full- scale active shooter/active response exercise using the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program

(HSEEP) model.

· Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies such as Harris County Sheriff’s Department, Texas DPS, US Customs Enforcement and US Coast Guard for radio communications training for large scale events.

· Updated multiple Houston Police Department internal annexes such as active shooter, Continuity of Operations, Extreme Weather Incidents, to include the Emergency Response Plan to current emergency management standards.

MARINE SCIENCE TECH 3RD CLASS UNITED STATES COAST GUARD APRIL 2004-APRIL 2008

· Served multiple roles within Sector New Orleans Marine Science Office during disaster preparedness, response, planning and mitigation to disaster incidents and planned events.

· Member of the Command Center Operations during Hurricane Katrina and Rita activations assisting in oil spill response and aviation rescue operations.

· Liaise with regional partners and volunteer groups to ensure that Mardi Gras and other regional planned events would take place following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

· Worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers for all-hazards disaster management with an emphasis on flood preparedness, response, and mitigation.
