· Managed a team of 16 highly intelligent individuals that provided operational support to all Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office divisions and 54 fire departments within Harris County, TX prior to, during, and following disaster incidents and large scale planned events.

· Supervisor of the Fire Desk at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations and liaise with the City of Houston during Emergency Operations Center activations for natural and human-caused disaster incidents such as 96-inch water main break, civil unrest Summer of 2020, and Hurricane Laura (2020).

· Developed numerous Event Action Plans (EAP) and After-Action Reports (AAR) for large scale events such as the 2017 and 2019 MLB World Series, Chevron Marathon, Super Bowl LI, Freedom Over Texas and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. · Collaborated with Southeast Texas Regional Advisor Committee (SETRAC) and the City of Houston Mayors Office for planning and implementation of exercises for cascading catastrophic medical incidents and full- scale active shooter/active response exercise using the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program

(HSEEP) model.

· Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies such as Harris County Sheriff’s Department, Texas DPS, US Customs Enforcement and US Coast Guard for radio communications training for large scale events.

· Updated multiple Houston Police Department internal annexes such as active shooter, Continuity of Operations, Extreme Weather Incidents, to include the Emergency Response Plan to current emergency management standards.

MARINE SCIENCE TECH 3RD CLASS UNITED STATES COAST GUARD APRIL 2004-APRIL 2008

· Served multiple roles within Sector New Orleans Marine Science Office during disaster preparedness, response, planning and mitigation to disaster incidents and planned events.

· Member of the Command Center Operations during Hurricane Katrina and Rita activations assisting in oil spill response and aviation rescue operations.

· Liaise with regional partners and volunteer groups to ensure that Mardi Gras and other regional planned events would take place following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
