Career Summary
Guadalupe Ortega Ramírez attended the National University of Mexico, where she studied psychology. While working in curricula development for the Latin American Center of Health Educational Technology (Centro Latinoamericano de Tecnología Educacional para la Salud, CLATES), she developed an interest in media-related education and the performing arts. This led to continuing her studies at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City.
Ms. Ortega's career in media has included positions as Production Manager, Associate Producer, Field Producer, Location Manager and Fixer, working in television, feature films, documentaries, and theater. She has worked in Mexico on productions for Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Televisión Azteca, and University of Mexico Television, among others.
