The friendship and loyalty gained throughout my four years in this chapter has allowed me to excel in academics and in opportunity. University of California, Davis ~ UNICEF Club September 2020 - March 2023

Vice President Position September 2020 - June 2021

• Duties included assisting UNICEF president, organizing club meetings, communicating important information regarding UNICEF events

After meeting with a close friend of mine in the same major, we worked together to create a UNICEF chapter at UC Davis. During the COVID-19 summer, we zoom called often and discussed how we could use our passion of peace and security expansion to gather members that are both willing and fervent to spread awareness of UNICEF ideals. While helping to start the club I gained many skills in advertising and marketing aswell as strengthening relations with others by sharing an important passion of mine. During my time in UNICEF, I developed a deep understanding of international relations and the strong effects it has on women and children. As a member and leader in UNICEF, I was both inspired and able to inspire others in large UNICEF events and conferences.

University of California, Davis ~ Women’s Club Rugby September 2020 - March 2023

The UC Davis Women’s Rugby team gave me an outlet for academic stress and an amazing community where I gained lifelong friends. I joined the team with no past experience and was greeted with open arms where older members taught me many skills. These skills were not only rugby skills but also time management skills that were necessary to balance a school and work schedule with three days per week of practice. Because the team is a club sport, a high work ethic was necessary in order to keep the sport running and well funded. Along with my team members, I completed many service and fundraising hours that helped the club thrive. Fundraising events, mandatory conditionings and practice, and recruiting efforts taught me the importance of dedication and passion. As a returning player, I shared these ideals that were taught to me as a rookie in hopes to create a strong legacy of Aggie Rugby, Aggie Pride.
