La Causerie Française Language Institute
Italian Instructor and Italian Department Lead- September 2008 to May 2024
Instruct students in Italian grammar, syntax, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Develop and implement engaging lessons and activities to improve students’ understanding of the language. Encourage participation in class by creating a fun and open environment. Teach both in person and online courses. Include all aspects of language learning-speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Provide additional materials for extra practice outside the classroom. Design curriculum and lesson plans.

Provide instruction in Spanish and Italian to individuals and small groups. Design my own materials and lesson plans. Develop lessons and materials to fit the individual student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Assist students enrolled in language classes in junior high, high school and college. Help prepare students for placement tests. Work with students preparing for a move to or travel in a Spanish or Italian speaking country.
Star Chiropractic Family Clinic
Medical Office Administrator-March 2024 to present
Manage all aspects of a small medical office with one doctor who practices chiropractic and integrative medicine. Duties include: checking patients in and out, scheduling, answering phone and emails, setting up treatment modalities, filing with insurance, tracking patients’ lab work and treatments, daily and monthly reporting, perform basic in office testing, tracking and ordering of inventory, conducting interviews and training new staff.
La Causerie Française Language Institute
Assistant to the Board- June 2020 to December 2023
In charge of all aspects of administration including the enrollment system and process. Handle all inquiries from prospective students. In charge of the school websites. (Google Site) Provided training to instructors on use of their class web page and Zoom. Principal point of contact between the school board, instructors, and current and prospective students. Research and select vendor for school mailing list. Attend board meetings and assist in decision making and policy creation.
