My duties include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance of machinery, as well as electrical and facility upkeep and safety. I oversee all plant operations on three shifts and complete weekly testing and upkeep for the facility fire systems and emergency generator power systems. I have been the lead person on several large projects such as furnace muffle changes, belt replacements and conveyor installs. I assist the engineering department with new concept machines and I also retro fit and safeguard much of the existing equipment. I am the senior facilities technician and in the past was also the scheduler in the department and was the interim assistant to the maintenance manager, overseeing day to day operations in the facility and the property.
