PROFILE

-Diversity of skills. Along with writing and editing, I have also become familiar with various construction industry practices and programs (TakeOff, Bluebeam, etc.). On the job training with documents (contracts, technical reports) and technology combine with physical implementation (manual labor, grouting, wall penetration), giving me comprehensive experience on a vast range of projects. I spent much of Summer 2023 working on W123 Mercedes-Benz with a retiree in Somerville.

-Driven by academic and artistic curiosity. In my History and English degrees, and my interactions with trades-(wo)men, I am most interested in thinking about the contexts and functions of the system(s) in question; gaining full-understanding of a problem to find a complete solution, one which may not have been immediately obvious.
