Project Manager/Planner/Foreman on a project crew. I also am a relief track inspector inspecting to Government compliance, safely. I have had the privilege to plan, construct, lead and install countless projects to include Interlockers, switches, crossings, siding projects, and many more. Inspected in and out of refineries, private industries, ports and intermodal yards. Universal when it comes to crafts, work hand and hand with signal operations inspecting and properly constructing and maintaining grade crossings. Always maintaining proper operating practices and incorporating proper On Track Safety within job sites. Also using quality control on projects that were completed by third part contractors. Safely cleaning and reconstructing and participating in derailment investigations. Foreman for a Welding gang, where we used thermite and in track welders to complete CWR (Continues Welded Rail) adjust to maintain the Integrity of the railroad.

Operations Supervisor

Kinder Morgan, Houston, Texas June 2014 – February 2015

Part of a unique experience of leading 8 individuals, to open a rotary rail dump and conveyor system. Communicated a bill of lading from a embarked rail company of coal and Petroleum Coke. Utilized a unique dumping system that flipped train cars upside down onto a conveyor system to stockpile onto a pad, where multiple dozers stockpiled near another conveyor system. Communicating with incoming ships, submitted a bill of lading and a budget correspondence of the outbound material. Submitted invoice to loaders where the dozers stockpiled onto another conveyor to the ship.

United States Navy

Williamsburg, Virginia 14 August 2000 – 14 August 2014

As a Leader, I oversaw the transportation yard. Led 11 individuals which carried out duties such as dispatcher and a yard crew. Worked hand and hand with ports and rail yards to manifest over $50,000,000 of cargo to be shipped to many of countries and ports throughout the United States and other countries. Created ship loadout plans for shipping of Merchant Marine cargo ships, to include the offload of the ships at Sea and ports in the harshest environments to include combat and Antarctica.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

Completed over 50 deployments while in the military to include all 7 continents. Team Leader in 3 combat missions (1 to Afghanistan and 2 to Iraq). Part of a mission that offloaded a merchant marine ship in Antarctica at a ice pier.

Lead a 40-man crew that installed 11 switches in 23 hours in the 2nd most active yard west of the Mississippi river and reduced curfew time by 16 hours which allowed the hump yard to commence earlier than expected.

Planned, constructed, and installed a double diamond interlocker with 34 individuals reduced curfew time by 27 hours. Utilized asphalt and a geogrid for the first time in a sand subgrade that usually has a hard time maintaining elevation but was able to have it keep posture 8 years ago.

Was tasked with assisting a third party in the inspection of a high-speed rail project in Florida. It was a honor and a privilege to be hand-picked to assist a company in a third party inspection to insure proper government standards for a class 7 track with a high speed of 125 MPH.

VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE

Was honoured to be a Volunteer Fireman while in the military at a local town. Able to account for over 500 hours of volunteer time. Assisted multiple veterans’ associations to include the Veterans of foreign wars (VFW)during a fishing tournament for wounded veterans.
