Meet Jean Pierre Gatsobe, Concierge

Let's meet Jean Pierre Gatsobe from Rwanda, an invaluable member of our team since August 2022.

Jean Pierre's journey with us began with an inspiring story.

In early 2022, Mr. Bernd, our Acting General Manager at Raffles, travelled to Rwanda for a

recruitment trip. During his stay at a local hotel, he met Jean Pierre, who was working there. Jean

Pierre's warm and welcoming personality shone through as he greeted guests in multiple languages.

When he greeted Mr. Bernd in German, it left a lasting impression, making him feel especially

welcomed.

Although Jean Pierre did not apply to our property at that time, his remarkable first impression

led us to consider him for the position of Concierge Agent.

Now, after almost two years with us, Jean Pierre consistently provides exceptional experiences

for our guests, creating cherished memories from their arrival to their departure.

Jean Pierre exemplifies the spirit of hospitality and demonstrates the kind of memorable

experiences we strive to offer at Raffles.
