I completed my classes in the ASL Interpreter Training Program at San Antonio College. I also have years of experience as a Deaf Support Specialist beginning in Phoenix, Arizona at the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf as well as experience interpreting in church since 2003. I was initially self taught, for my son who is Deaf. I later took classes (at my local church) and attended total immersion conferences in Arizona and Iowa dating back to 1997. I passed the Test of English Proficiency in 2012 and passed the BEI in November of 2022 . I was the Salutatorian of my class at the Latin American Bible College and have received scholarships due to my high academics. I am also a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I have volunteered for the Deaf Community for over 20 years and will be an asset to any company.
