POSITION PURPOSE: (SR. DETAILER / MODELER)
BASIC FUNCTION – Responsible for Detailing / Modeling of Structural Steel using Xsteel,
Erection drawings and Shop drawings, coordinate with Checker, Design engineers
and Drafting Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Review project file to established client Standards and or requirement for the Project based on the approved Customer Design Drawings and Customer specification for modeling of the Steel Structure by inputting of all members, designed connection in each member required using XSteel. TEKLA Structure.
Detail erection drawings & Erection Field Bolts based on Customer Design drawings and calculations.
Detail fabrication drawings after modeling of the Steel Structure with all necessary information required to produce good quality of shop drawings (details of all members, dimension, member description, piece mark, bill of materials etc.) Using XSTEEL in Detailing.
Prepare Advance Bill of Materials, Drawing List, Field Bolt List, KISS file, NC file & Drawing files (PDF) for the Customers Approval.
POSITION PURPOSE: (SR. DRAFTING CHECKER/TL-2)
BASIC FUNCTION – Responsible for Checking of Structural Steel using 2D & TEKLA
Structure (XSTEEL)
To report to the Project Managers regularly about job update
and status and to check one or more job as schedule by the
Project Manager. Sees to it that the drawings created by
detailers follow the project set up to minimize checking
hours, Conduct regular meetings with the Project Manager
and detailers or when the need arises. Consult the Project Manager
in case of disagreement on checking procedures with the detailers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Check Erection and Shop Drawings for Design intent.
Checking the layout of the model, all connections required as per the design
Drawings of the customer, all necessary information with regards to the
Properties of Steel & Grades of Steel Structures.
Follow fabricator Detailing Standard.
Ensure all RFI answers are incorporated.
Ensure all specific detailing instructions are incorporated.
Perform complete check at First Article Drawing as instructed by the
Project Manager.
Ask checking questions to other checker, team leader & Project Manager.
Answer checking question from detailers and junior checkers.
Coordinate and communicate with other checkers to ensure accuracy
and proper fit up.
Help as required in assisting the Project Manager with specific requests.
Always perform tasks with Client Satisfaction in mind.
Help in training detailers & junior checker.
As a XSteel User helping the group to input all steel member & connections
required to make every Job to be finish ahead as per schedule of release.
