• Parks Volunteer Coordinator – August, 2015 - February, 2017 Santa Clara County Parks Department 298 Garden Hill Dr. Los Gatos, CA 95032

•Recruit and interview potential volunteers for the Volunteer Program, special events, special projects and highly visible events. Recruit volunteers and coordinate events to support the de- partment’s internal stakeholders, such as the Public Information Officer, Interpretation and Outdoor Recreation Program Manager, Partnership Program, Park Managers, Trails Coordinator, operations and maintenance staff. Support the Volunteer Program and Executive Management Team. Pre- pare reports

•Work with external stakeholders, such the Volunteer Coordinating Counsel, New Almaden Quick- silver County Parks Association, Friends groups and corporate groups. Establish and maintain con- nections and networks within the community and concurrent jurisdictions to form effective partner- ships. Coordinate and prepare written correspondences’ and e blasts. Manage and update the department’s volunteer website, work with county web masters in creating and updating the vol- unteer page. Establish, manage and update outside volunteer networking websites

• Law enforcement, vehicle, vessel and boat patrol; issue warnings, citations; emergency re- sponse; Search and Rescue. Develop, coordinate and perform interpretive programs for the gen- eral public, school groups and special interest groups. Develop interactive displays and programs. Coordinate with department staff, volunteers and community members to develop interpretative programs. Develop and deliver environmental education programs. Conduct Jr. Ranger Program for ages 9 11. Create advertisement and marketing for interpretative programs
