● Coded software to validate, capture, and send orders throughout the day directly via MQ, SWIFT or direct NDM to the domestic and offshore money market fund families.

● Wrote programs that perform daily net settlement with funds and reconcile fund and JPMCC positions.

● Supported software used to facilitate dividend payments, account liquidations, and interest rate calculations for client positions.

● Improve system’s ability to capture money market security reference data and enable business partners to maintain and supplement this information in response to client requirements.

● Produce and distribute reports listing balances, accrued interest, interest rates and other money market security information, customized according to client requirements.

● Interacted directly with various money market funds (ex: BlackRock) to support ongoing business needs, such as move from CNAV pricing, that is constant/stable net asset value (NAV) pricing per share, and adopt floating NAV (FNAV) pricing to comply with “Money Market Reform” regulations.

● Was the point person in working with “iMoneyNet” vendor which supplies domestic and offshore funds data such as daily yields that are used in calculating customers portfolio. Designed and coded software to manage the firm's margin system, working with business partners to understand business needs, prepare BRDs, and improve client experience.

● Created DB2 tables to store margin maintenance percentages for various security types. Created SQL queries to retrieve DB2 table data and optimize run times by creating unique/alternate indexes, building DB2 triggers, Views, and Stored procs.

● Built a system to generate margin calls for accounts whose equity fell below required threshold, and enabled Margin Operations team to contact customers and require additional cash to satisfy margin calls.

● Coded an optimization engine to calculate various option strategies by determining optimum hedging strategies which would charge the lowest margin requirement.

● Generate margin exceptions such as sale-not-long violations, negative equity, overdue Reg. T call, box cash positions, and unsecured debit.

● Designed and implemented an online system which displayed all margin requirements for customers (such as Reg T, NYSE and House) with detailed option strategies applied.

● Built a “What If” application that allowed Margin Operations to simulate customer holdings with different variables such as quantity, price, and security types to calculate hypothetical margin requirements.

● Designed an override application where Margin Operations could override margin requirements to comply with regulatory requirements.

● Drafted flowchart showing all inbound vendor pricing feeds and all outbound data (such as margin positions) to various other applications.

● Performed as Scrum Master (Agility lead) for the Technology team to make sure all Jiras were assigned with enough details to enable coders to fully understand business needs and deliver results in a timely manner.

● Liaised with external auditors to answer questions about margin process and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

● Played primary role in software testing by creating use cases and regression testing, with continued monitoring through quality assurance, production deployment and post-production stages.

● Answered production calls in a timely manner for various production issues, including those related to late pricing feeds from vendors.

● Developed programs to calculate market value of positions, cash available, and SMA. EDUCATION
