WORK EXPERIENCE

Current job-

McDean building solutions- Virgina

January 2020- present day

I started with them back in Va as the 2nd in charge for running a big temp power crew running the temp wires for the POW’s supplying power to various spots in the building for contractors and also the temp lighting and everything else, Then I relocated here to New Bern to work on camp Lejeune as a lead tech installing SBC panels and Telecom panels and running all the pipe and wire to hook them all up and wire them in, I’ve also been installing the temp probes and OA-T sensors for the boilers. Also I've been learning to begin with the actual controls work and am now labeled as a control tech II. The job is now almost done and me and the crew I lead have been the best crew there, and our work has been next to perfect and when BOD walks started and finished the most ever came out of our jobs was maybe a missing sticker here or there.

December 2007 – April 2018

Here I had 2 jobs I was a primary skilled electrician and secondary skilled operator. I would on daily basis be troubleshooting conveyor motors and all equipment that went with them such as side travel switches, emergency pull rope, sensors, pressure plates etc. Also worked on all the lights in the coalyard the car dumper basically everything that had electricity running to it I had to work on including PLC’s, motor starters, VFD’s etc. When didn’t have electrical work to do I would operate the loaders, locomotives, D-10 and D-11 dozers to push coal, also operated the Sewertel which is a huge corkscrew machine that was used to unload coal barges.
