Collateral Duty Inspectors (CDI) are responsible for inspecting the preventative maintenance and repair actions completed within the work center. CDI's ensure the jobs are done correctly, safely, and also verify specific actions such as: Proper torquing of hardware using correct torque sequences.

Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) is a highly skilled person responsible for conducting and managing the maintenance department’s QA effort. QARs are assigned under the QA officer and CDQAR are assigned to the production work center but act in the same capacity as a QAR.

Quality Assurance Representative (QAR). QARs are permanently assigned to the Quality

Assurance Division. QAR's as part of the Q.A. Division monitor, inspect, and audit all Maintenance Divisions. To ensure that all Orders, Instructions, and Procedures are followed and adhered to.

Quality Assurance/Safety Observer for all Ordnance evolutions.
