VALUE VILLAGE THRIFT STORE - University Place, WA - April 2014 to March 2016 Main duties were to sort items as they came in from donors. Make sure items were in re-sellable condition. Fold or hang items to be resold. My department was Bed and Bath. Once it was folded and/or hung I had to price the item. Once everything was done I had to take items to the department and place in proper place. I was responsible to make sure department was clean every morning and thru out the day. Included working with a register. Customer Service, product knowledge, playing detective trying to find out what item would work best for them.
Accomplishments
I have a few customer's who will come in to see only me. I'm able to make people feel comfortable in our store. I have a good re-pour with my co-workers.
Skills Used
My ability to listen to the customer to figure out what it is they are looking for. And I think it says a lot that people come in when I'm there and don't want anyone else to help them. Usher/Ticket Taker

To help guests find their seats. Answers any questions they may have. Even trying to figure out what they need if they don't speak english. Also had to watch for any pictures or video being taken, and if someone was caught you had to ask them to step out of the theater into the lobby and let security handle from there. Also had to keep certain guests in other areas of the theater until the show started usually Actors, Singer's and Professional Athletes and not to mention the star of our show. Accomplishments
