Projects and Responsibilities: Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion. Obtains all necessary regulations and permits. Orders necessary supplies, tools, and equipment. Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans. Manages a construction manager and oversees their work. Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports. Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan. Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists. Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists. Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed. Use scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Projects and responsibility; Senior Construction Superintendent managing construction on site of the modernization that double the square footage of the previous school totaling over 83,000 SF and accommodating 800 students. The new, two- story classroom building contains 38 classrooms and include a media center / technology hub with two specialty labs. Modernization also includes a new administrative building with a partner center; and a new MPR room with food service and a lunch shelter. Projects and Responsibilities: Planned and scheduled projects, estimated time and materials, supervised 16 subordinates, maintained records, filed and prepared reports (Shop budgets, sick leave, on the job injuries, inventory, etc.) Prepped, scheduled and supervised the work layout for the maintenance, alteration and repair of building structures and components. Preformed carpentry tasks and kept records of carpenter’s time and materials used for each job. Supervised carpentry jobs requiring a high degree of skill. Kept reports of work performed.
