Essential Duties:
• Manage the supply of raw materials to production as needed.
• Manage mixing & weigh tech departments to include performance reviews, disciplinary actions, attendance requests, training and Staffing Department.
• Ensure the order board is ahead of both the weighing and mixing and no Extrusion lines are going down.
• Supervise weekly cycle counts of raw material and supplies on schedule to verify against recorded inventory levels.
• Ensure that inbound material is properly received against purchase orders, Erp records are updated, and material is moved to the proper location. If problem with shipments are encountered ensure that the material is placed in quarantine area and the proper people are notified.
• Supervise, which includes training, coaching and conducting annual performance reviews for all material handlers within S/R Department.
• Provide backup in weigh booth and mixing Department during vacations, absences or if scheduled board is falling behind.
• Maintain accuracy of weigh scales and organization of weigh area for maximum efficiency.
• Work extended hours/ weekends when assigned.
