I have worked my way from the bottom to my current position: I started as a regular inspector which includes finding defects and checking quality of the glass and packing as it comes down a fast pace conveyor which could be anywhere from 200 to 400 an hr: I then moved up to a cold end operator which includes running the line from front to end: handling the raw glass and doing full pattern changes from grinding wheels, cut wheels ...changing programs being able to get and maintain size programing stacker which lead me into the position I'm currently in now as a Quality technician my job list includes but not limited to; Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, blueprints...
equipment logbooks, or inventory forms, First piece approvals..certifications on new parts Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved. Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. Receive and inspect raw materials.
Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. Identify quality problems and recommend solutions, place products on hold which means the inventory cannot be released until approved or sorted to my standards Press Operator
