I have worked in retail for 25+ years, as a cashiers store floor associate and an assistant manager for companies like kmart and family dollar in the pittsburgh pennsylvania area. I eorked for eckerd drug first as a cashier while i went to college to recieve my associate in science degree for pharmacy technician. This was at the community college of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Irecieved my pharmacy technician certification in 1995. Elapsed due to health problems. Was a pharmacy technician 8 year in retail, nursing home and data entry. I was senior training tech and did all compounding. Other jobs while in the pharmacy was inventory control, pharmacy maintenance of cleaning shelves and checking for outdated medication. I would submit outdate medication for return credit to warehouse or mamufacturer. And finally i would work with insurance companies to try to get medication on their insurance. As a caregiver, i took care of my significant other for 6 years after strokes. The last two years was total bed care.
