PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Molina Healthcare,

Long Beach, CA

Technical Lead

July 2022 to Till Date

Primary Care Physician (PCP): As a Technical Lead, I lead a team of 4 developers to design and implement a Web solution for the Molina Healthcare’s customers to register and select a primary care physician (PCP). I designed a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant Web solution for the customers, provided logical data models, data mappings, comprehensive data structures, and integration design for the web solution.

I worked with business users and coordinated with internal development teams, to lead the application and databases development effort. I played a key role in documenting the processes and as a subject matter expert (SME) to the team. I reviewed the code and managed the code in the code repository. I verified the solution end-to-end, to ensure both functional and non-functional characteristics of the solution are in-line with the proposed solution design and meets the business requirements.

Duke Energy,

Tampa, FL

Senior Systems Architect

Jan 2015 to June 2022

Load Management System (LMS): As a Senior Systems Architect, I created an architecture blueprint for a new Load Management System, from end to end. It includes the platforms, security, technical infrastructure, applications, databases and interfaces for the Demand Response Team of Duke Energy at the portfolio level.

I collaborated with the business and system analysts to understand the business requirements to create the architectural blueprint for the Load Management System. Identified the core components necessary to meet functional requirements and desired systems characteristics. I estimated the initial system level cost and lead the teams to implement the various technology components of the new Load Management system.

I ensured the implementation of data models, data warehouses, and data solutions that support the needs of asset management and work management functions. I worked closely with multi-functional teams, including IT, engineering, operations, and business partners with incremental development efforts, testing, production migration and post-production support.

Load Management Controller (LMC): LMC is the legacy system that is to control the customer appliances, using the 1-way paging devices. The core of the system is the web application, developed using .Net and SQL Server. The web application controls over 700,000 devices, installed at customer homes, by sending the appropriate custom messages. When a control event is initiated, in the web application, the logic determines how and when to control the devices and dispatches the appropriate messages to the devices.

I managed the system design, security and documentation of the solution to comply with the standards defined by the enterprise architecture team, adhere to IT principles and utility industry standards and regulations. I coordinated with internal development teams and external vendors to successfully implemented the proposed solution architecture to meet the business requirements.

I worked on solutions integration, data optimization and design to ensure data quality, reliability and operational efficiency across the organization. I make sure that the data solutions comply with regulatory requirements and data governance policies. I developed and maintained the documentation for system design, data architectures, integration solutions, data security and processes.
