Honesty and transparency are qualities that I will always hold high for keeping my integrity and trust of others. The best two parts of a problem are knowing the answers before the problem is given because I have already solved this issue before; and seeing the new problem and figuring out the solution with my intelligence/experience with the willingness to ask the right questions to someone who has done the same thing before and has seen the results. Finally, to always leave a customer completely satisfied with the work finished with a personal business card and promise to be available should any concerns arise.

Project Manager and Cabinet Installer

Lead project manager and cabinet installer in the renovation of the Omni Hotel, the Renaissance Hotel, and the Bass Pro Hotel. This included, but not limited to, leading separate cabinet crews while doing the cabinet removals and new cabinet installations myself, the hiring/firing and supervision of all aspects of the renovation. This included the delivery of all cabinets, running the master electricians/plumbers and their crews, monitoring code enforcement, cleanliness, and productivity with weekly/hourly timesheets and reports given to me by the lead contractors of each division, and then reporting everything to the company’s corporate offices and administrators. All projects were successfully completed within the time frames and tables that I set up.

Project Manager and Cabinet Installer

I was in charge of all aspects of customer relationships from start to finish. This included initial contact with the measure and learning the desires and expectations of the customer. I would be at the customers house a day before delivery to set up a clean walkway and begin demolition of old cabinets if necessary. Finally, within two to three days I would have all of the new cabinets installed including all trim and hardware not leaving until everything was cleaned and a walk-through with the customers with pictures taken by myself and the customers were taken and all parties involved were completely satisfied.

Jim Blair(my father and firefighter for Farmer's Branch) and I ran the company with the help of money mailer resources and word of mouth with preexisting customers where I learned from the best all of intricacies and skillset of fine woodwork from crown, base, light rail, flooring, casing, etc. I also learned how to do other things like tile, roofing, fencing, doors, windows, painting, and everything else to do with a house or structure residential or commercial.

Management. Being able to manage my time is a valuable tool. It is an asset that I have acquired to be able to manage my time well enough that I can manage other people's time that are around me to ensure that everything that is needed is obtainable, and everyone knows their own responsibilities and I can always be focused on what I am doing while at the same time being available for help with anything else that may arise in other areas.

I installed cabinets and refinished every room in the Omni Hotel on Highway114 in Las Colinas. I have been the lead cabinet installer in hundreds of homes/businesses from Florida to Colorado and all of the states in between.

I built and installed new wooden lockers for the locker rooms at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano. I built large full extension drawers under a bench for one locker room, and a flip open bench on piano hinges for the other. I built custom cubbies above each bench open on one side and a door with a hasp on the other. I built all of the sides and everything is stain grade and still there to look at.

Christian Academy out of oak. Each locker has an overhead cabinet with custom shelves and doors. Each locker also has a custom lower bench with drawers and open storage. It is all stain grade and will be standing there for a long time.
