“Traffic Information Propagation through Intercommunication between Cars using VANET System” International Conference IRNET-2012 Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) is basically used to provide various services to its user. Misbehavior of such a system should be defended. VANET system provides intercommunication between vehicles by letting them exchange traffic information. Such kinds of exchanges may create privacy apprehension since the vehicle-generated information can contain much confidential data of the vehicle and its driver. Vehicular networks pose several unique challenges. The traffic information flowing in the network may affect traffic decisions. Raceview is a mechanism that can be routed with a vehicle as the future aspect. The vehicles which have Trafficview device installed will broadcast the traffic information using short range wireless communication. This paper reviews the TrafficView prototype and its approach and shows the experiment result of traffic management considering speed and distance factors in mind. The importance of broadcasting traffic information in a vehicle-to-vehicle fashion is scalability and ease of utilization. PROJECTS
