Professional Summary
I am a Certified Peer Support Specialist in the state of North Carolina. I was also a licensed attorney for several years and I am in recovery. I also have a associates degree and substance-abuse counseling in human resources. It is my desire to pursue my substance-abuse counseling certification, (CDSC), working with people who suffer from mental health, addiction or alcohol issues is exactly what I’m trained and love to do. It was my job to oversee all sample products that were requested by existing and new customers. I was responsible for the sample from its earliest development stages to the finished product. There’s also my job to communicate with the customer in regards to issues, changes, and time needed to complete the project. Once the sample was completed and approved by the customer and then passed it along to the production side who would then take it from there. Overall at any given time I would handle as many as 20 different samples and then my estimation of fewer than 10. I had a crew of about 15 men and women working under me.

Play college basketball, division, one for two years, and then transferred and played division two basketball at Mars Hill College, which is now Marcio University! I say this because I’m a team player I know how to work with others to get a goal or job done. Well, known in the state of North Carolina because of my basketball skills, I was highly ranked nationally and also my jersey is retired at my high school! But it was because of my high-level athleticism that I was introduced to the substances that would eventually caused me to lose everything. I could go for days about my achievements and sports and academics but what’s important is my heart is in the right place I want to see people succeed .
